Grab announced the appointment of Yee Wee Tang as country head of Grab Singapore from 1 April, overseeing the business strategy and operations in the city, according to a statement on Friday .
Yee succeeds Lim Kell Jay who will become the co-chief of staff in the CEO office, as well as head of GrabFood Singapore. Lim will help accelerate the growth of GrabFood further to become the top food delivery service player in Singapore by the first-half of 2019, the company said. GrabFood’s orders in Singapore has been growing at an average of around 25 per cent monthly.
