The Topspeed team is attempting to do simulator racing at a scale never before seen in Singapore. This resource-intensive approach aims to spread awareness about e-Motorsports locally.
A direct result of this ethos is their decision to equip the space with 6 identical simulator racing rigs, all decked out with powerful PCs and curved widescreens. The centre piece of each rig has to be the Simagic Direct Drive Wheel, and the professional-grade pedals. But to avoid an “all the gear, no idea” scenario, each setup has been tuned by industry veterans and professional sim drivers and race karters.
Topspeed also offers track analysis, track day preparation and coaching by race drivers. You’d be taught the basics of performance driving, saving you a lot of time as there’s no need to experiment with all the various techniques. It is also a lower cost alternative to actually having more seat time in your own car, as a trip to and from Sepang, as well as a full-on track day, can subject your vehicle to a lot of wear-and-tear.
