Every employer shall on Polling Day allow every elector in his employ a reasonable period of time for voting.”
In a national address on his Facebook page and on free-to-air television and radio, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong explained the reasons in calling for the General Election now, citing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
