Other expenses include a 12-month loss of income of $21,600 as well as shelter fees and employment of a full-time caregiver over a six-month period., Ray of Hope said that the sum of the medical fees, tabulated as of 5 May, is likely to increase. The campaign's target will be increased once the updated medical bills are received.

Han told Ray of Hope, “I am in great pain every single day since the incident. Thinking about my children keeps me alive.” The Henan native's children, aged 20 and 17, are currently looked after by her family.
