– Hong Kong filmmaker Jun Li is elated over the news that his new movie, "Drifting" has received a large number of nominations at the upcoming 58th edition of the Golden Horse Awards.
As reported on Mingpao, in an announcement made on 5 October, it was revealed that the said film has been nominated in 12 categories including the major categories such as Best Feature Film, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Lead actor Francis Ng is also nominated in the Best Actor category, while three of the film's supporting actors, Will Or, Tse Kwan Ho, and Rachel Lee are nominated in the Best Supporting Actor and Actress categories respectively.
"I am very excited. To me, the Golden Horse is especially important and I am particularly happy that Francis, Will, Tse Kwan Ho and Rachel are shortlisted as well. I would also like to thank everybody who worked on this film in front of and behind the scenes for their efforts," said Jun.
