Former director of luxury jet firm charged with cheating and misappropriating more than S$11m

Geoffery Owen Cassidy is also alleged to have abetted his employees to forge invoices on 12 occasions, as well as falsifying both companies' accounts on eight occasions, the police said in a statement.

He was previously fined S$4,000 in 2019 for verbally abusing a police officer who had been called to his home after he got into an altercation with a dinner guest. He is also accused of using more than S$1.4 million of the misappropriated amounts for property-related expenditures, and faces three counts of using the benefits of criminal conduct.Cassidy also held a directorship in a Thailand-basedHe is accused of cheating a company, AirLNG, into delivering more than US$400,000 to Asia Aviation on five occasions between April 25, 2014 and May 27, 2015.

He also faces a 10 year jail term, or a fine of up to S$500,000 for using the benefits of criminal conduct.
