PETALING JAYA - A fire has broken out at the former Employees Provident Fund building on Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya, on Monday.
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said it received a distress call at 10.37am, and dispatched firefighters from Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Penchala and Puchong fire stations to the scene, reported Malaysiakini.“The fire occurred on the fourth and fifth floor of the building, and firefighters successfully controlled the blaze at 11.08am,” said Selangor Fire and Rescue Department’s assistant director Hafisham Mohd Noor.
