SINGAPORE - For decades, their fans waited patiently and finally got what they were looking for, when Irish rock icons U2 played their first Singapore show to 50,000 fans at the National Stadium on Saturday night .
Fronted by singer Bono, the black-clad quartet played all the songs from their seminal 1987 album, The Joshua Tree, as well as hits such as Pride , from their 1984 album, The Unforgettable Fire, which had fans singing along.Enjoy unlimited access to ST's best work Subscribe Now
