Ewan McGregor almost rejected the chance to star in Obi-Wan Kenobi because his previous work on the Star Wars prequels was "so hard".

He told Total Film magazine: "I found it very hard to make those films. It was lots and lots of green screen and blue screen. By the time we did Episode III, it was almost all entirely green screen. Ewan explained: "I started thinking, 'I want to do it. Why wouldn't you?' and the same thing happened with Obi-Wan…"
