ANTANANARIVO: The death toll from the sinking of a cargo ship off the coast of northeastern Madagascar rose to 83 on Wednesday as bad weather ended the search for five missing passengers, the maritime agency said.

Fifty survivors have been found, APMF said. The search for the five remaining missing passengers would resume on Thursday. "Since I couldn't fight the waves, I knew I wouldn't make it to dry land. Yet I was very close. I arrived within 500 meters, but the waves sent me back because I was getting tired," Gellé said in a video posted by the Gendarmerie.

This takes the country\u0027s death toll from coronavirus complications to 818 deaths. I still don’t understand. Negative PCR is required before boarding the plane for Singapore but yet, negative became positive on arrival Singapore? Isn’t this an indication that something is very wrong and a different approach and strategy is needed? Let’s keep in mind that local cases are significantly undercounted. Imported cases are much less undercounted. The real proportion is not 1/4 but rather less than 1/10 right now and get ring fenced. Local undetected cases do not get ringfenced.
