Singapore to assess COVID19 situation mid-June and decide if ready to move to Phase 2 of reopening: Lawrence Wong

SINGAPORE: Phase Two of Singapore’s post-circuit breaker reopening could start before the end of June, Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong said on Thursday .

The Health and Trade and Industry ministries said at that time that businesses that operate in settings with lower transmission risks will be allowed to open. These include manufacturing firms and most offices. The authorities will begin to talk to businesses in this category to ensure they have the safeguards in place that can allow them to run again.

No one will be able contain it completely so not sure why not move to phase 2 now.... precaution is the only way....I can’t understand why I can’t book a staycation but allowed to visit supper markets for food...

Lol ystd only got 9 cases in community

Let’s deal with the hidden reservoirs of cluster pockets first ya. What we don’t want is a second wave thanks to asymptomatic personnels.

Just do it liao.

As long as you allow foreign workers & domestic helpers to freely wonder around and shop👍 including those with COVID19
