Makes sense. A family leaves the house together, travel in the same car but have to separate when in an F&B. After eating, they walk together. What kind of absurd policy for families?

Agree👍

It makes sense to lift curbs and restrictions for families that are fully vaccinated. There should not be a 1-size-fits-all approach as the situation has changed and many more family members are vaccinated. MTF should adjust and not throw a blanket restrictions.

It is senseless to force families to split up into groups of two when they are in public, says a TODAY reader. “Family members living in the same house... are near one another for many hours every day. They literally breathe the same air.” Read more:

Personally, i think it’s not going to be an easy feat to approve of social distancing offiers to check our household addresses & etc, just to allow people to walk together in a group (family). Apart from personal privacy, people will be trying to take advantage if the curb lifts.

Agree with writer. Senseless senseless and plain stupidity on part of task force. But then one can't expect much from a bunch of paper idiots maze flow charts, fishbone diagrams, clauses galore etc. Lack common sense!!

J&J files for authorization of COVID-19 vaccine boosterJ&J said its submission includes data from a late-stage study that found a booster given 56 days after the primary dose provided 94% protection against symptomatic COVID-19 in the United States and 100% protection against severe disease, at least 14 days after the booster shot. While scientists are divided over the need for booster shots when so many people in the United States and other countries remain unvaccinated, the Biden administration announced the push for an extra dose in August to shore up protection against the highly transmissible Delta variant. J&J's filing comes after the FDA last week scheduled an Oct. 15 meeting of its expert advisory committee to discuss whether to authorize a second shot of the company's single-dose vaccine.
