SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health has confirmed the detection of another five cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore as of noon on Sunday , taking the country’s total case count to .
Two of the cases are local transmissions and both reside in migrant worker dormitories. There are no new community cases, said the ministry. The remaining three cases are imported, all of whom were placed on Stay-Home Notice upon their arrival in Singapore. In its nightly update on Saturday, MOH said that two community cases announced earlier that day were employed at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3. One is a security officer at who had gone to work prior to hospital admission, while the other case is a temperature screener and swab assistant at Raffles Medical at Terminal 3.
Both had not interacted with each other and epidemiological investigations have not established any link between them, the ministry added.
