SINGAPORE — A total of 16 malls with supermarkets in them and four other non-mall supermarkets with high traffic have been urged to conduct contact tracing of customers amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The malls and supermarkets listed by Enterprise Singapore are located all over Singapore such as AMK Hub, Causeway Point, Jurong Point, Parkway Parade, and Sheng Siong Elias Mall.

They should have a system to log workers entering and exiting from their premises and consider using a digital check-in application called SafeEntry. Individuals visiting these premises are required to provide key information such as name, NRIC and mobile number. By scanning a personalised QR code, they can authenticate through SingPass Mobile or can choose to manually enter their details. Related stories:
