The Court of Three Judges said that it had been evident that the MP had not intended to suppress the breach

SINGAPORE: On Monday , the Court of Three Judges cleared Christopher de Souza of misconduct as a lawyer. The Law Society, which originally raised five charges against him, had sought a four-year suspension for Mr de Souza.

The charge against Mr de Souza, a partner at Lee & Lee, was related to dealings with his clients, Amber Compounding Pharmacy and Amber Laboratories. “Intention is a necessary ingredient of the charge”, the Law Society had made against Mr de Souza, said Justice Belinda Ang, who had delivered the verdict.
