Over 100 officers were activated to look for him when he failed to return his gun and bullets after his shift.

Heng Jun Hao was allegedly armed with a Taurus revolver loaded with five bullets while he was at Bugis+ shopping mall.

The police earlier told reporters that more than 100 officers were activated to look for Heng on May 9 when the Singaporean failed to return his revolver and 10 bullets after completing his shift at Changi Airport.Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and Special Operations Command were among the units activated for the manhunt.

Closed-circuit television footage showed him leaving the airport in civilian clothes before the police arrived.
