I've seen too many cases that cars don't slow down at crossings. Why? Perhaps stressed at making ends meet?
In sg is lik this. As ling it is not enforce or an accident hav occur. Some drivers wil not comply. Some even wan u to time ur walk speed with their vehicles so no ned to apply brakes to stop. We all know vehicles hav no or few cents worth for brakes. Can’t compare with aircraft.
