Brandon Ong, Jomond Chia clinch boys' doubles gold at Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships.

SINGAPORE — Singapore’s Brandon Ong and Jomond Chia have clinched a gold medal in the boys’ doubles event at the Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships in Kuching on Sunday .

It was Team Singapore’s first gold at the event, and the girls’ doubles team of Charmaine Chang and Amabel Chua also added a bronze on Sunday, their 2,354-pinfalls effort coming in behind winners Nur Syazwani Sahar/Gillian Lim of Malaysia and runners-up Shin Hye-bin/Jeong Ye-ri of South Korea
