SINGAPORE - The national governing body for track and field has rejected the resignations of Poh Seng Song and Gary Yeo from its management committee, said Singapore Athletics in a statement to The Straits Times on Friday .

ST reported on Monday that Poh, 37, and Yeo, 33, had stepped down from their respective posts as SA's vice-president and athletes' commission representative on March 18. The latter role is a co-opted position.Enjoy unlimited access to ST's best work Subscribe Now
