SINGAPORE — Five men were caught trying to smuggle duty-unpaid cigarettes into Singapore in September by hiding them under their clothes.

SINGAPORE — Five men were caught trying to smuggle duty-unpaid cigarettes into Singapore last month by hiding them underneath their clothes.

In a case on 11 September, they noticed a suspicious bulge on one 39-year-old Malaysian male traveller and uncovered 10 packets of duty-unpaid cigarettes around his hip and groin area.
