SINGAPORE – A Bangladeshi construction worker who was installing solar panels fell from the roof of a workshop in Tuas on Sunday and later died from his injuries.

The MOM spokesman said the worker was taken from 12 Tuas South Street 2 to the National University Hospital, where he died from his injuries on Sunday. MWC is also providing financial assistance to the man’s immediate family by extending an ex-gratia or goodwill payout from the Migrant Workers’ Assistance Fund, until compensation through the Work Injury Compensation Act comes through. It did not say how much the amount will be.
