SINGAPORE — Three people were conveyed to hospital and about 70 evacuated after a fire, believed to be caused by two e-scooters, broke out at a Bukit Batok flat early Thursday morning (18 July).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said in a Facebook post that it responded to a fire in a 26th-floor unit at Block 293D, Bukit Batok St 21 at about 12.40am.

A woman, who was also found in the flat, was conveyed to the Singapore General Hospital for smoke inhalation.
