SINGAPORE - In 1967, during Singapore's second National Day Parade, a contingent of troops sat astride horses, which trotted to the beat in front of a crowd of spectators at the Padang.
These snapshots, among 200 taken of past parades, are currently on display throughout the island on more than 7,000 outdoor screens. They were taken by SPH Media photojournalists from The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, Shin Min Daily News, Berita Harian and Tamil Murasu.
