SINGAPORE — Two more fatal workplace accidents occurred last week including one incident involving a 69-year-old worker who fell while cleaning windows.

In a release on Tuesday ,the Ministry of Manpower said that the two accidents took place on Friday and Saturday last week, bringing the total number of workplace fatalities in 2022 to 42.The worker, a 69-year-old Singaporean hired by Home Cleanz Cleaning and Laundry Services, was carrying out cleaning services at a vacated unit at 99 Cairnhill Circle, Hilltops Condominium.

The other fatality happened on Nov 25 around 11am and involved a 41-year-old Indian national hired by Plant General Services.
