UPDATE: 10 of 25 new COVID cases linked to Bukit Merah View Market cluster, including man, 94

Of them, 19 are local cases – 18 are in the community while one resides in a dormitory. Eighteen are linked to previous cases, including ten added to the 115 Bukit Merah View Market & Food Centre cluster.

The remaining six cases are imported, including one returning Singaporean and two permanent residents from Bangladesh and India. The other three are a long-term visit pass holder who arrived from the Philippines, a work permit holder from Malaysia, and a short-term visit pass holder from Indonesia for a work project here.

The MOH also announced the closure of two clusters – WOK HEY and "Case 63319" – as there have been no cases linked to them for the past two incubation periods, or 28 days. Singapore currently has 46 active COVID-19 clusters.115 Bukit Merah View Market & Food Centre cluster: 10 new cases, 16 in totalThe cluster was first linked to a 74-year-old Singaporean man who works at a sundry store at the food centre. The fully-vaccinated man was confirmed to have COVID-19 on 9 June.
