The Night Agent Season 3: Burning Questions
The Night AgentNetflixSeason 3

The Night Agent season 2 wrapped up with a thrilling conclusion, but left fans with a plethora of unanswered questions. Will Peter and Rose find their way back to each other? Can Jacob Monroe's power be stopped? And what does the future hold for the perilous world of Night Action?

Netflix 's The Night Agent is all set for season 3 , with a handful of questions the coming episodes must answer. This exciting action thriller introduced Peter Sutherland and the government agency Night Action back in season 1, and season 2 did a phenomenal job continuing the story. Peter's evolution from answering service to bonified Night Agent delivered everything it should.

Now, however, it's time for the next step for The Night Agent's titular character, along with the answers to old and new questions alike. The Night Agent season 2 ended with Peter and Rose once again saving the day in their own unconventional way. The chemical attack at the UN was successfully averted, and villains like Solomon and Javad were dealt with. However, the fact that Peter again went off-book—this time going as far as to sell UN secrets to achieve his goals—means a significant status change for his character. Peter will be a double agent in The Night Agent season 3, jumping between Night Action and intelligence broker Jacob Monroe on Catherine's orders. So, how will the coming episodes work out this and more? One of the most pressing questions is the future of Peter and Rose's relationship. The ending of The Night Agent season 1 saw them go their separate ways. The big question of these episodes was whether the bond between these two was legitimate or if it had only formed because of shared trauma. Peter had signed up to have his life threatened around every corner, but Rose had not. After the titular Night Agent's many questionable and risky decisions, Rose decided it was time to go a different way. After officially becoming a Night Agent and hearing out his partner, Alice, Peter had already decided that it wasn't safe to stay in contact with Rose. So, he and she were in agreement at the end of The Night Action season 2. Still, it's difficult to say whether Peter and Rose will keep their resolve on this one. Season 3 will have to provide an answer and either leave Rose's character behind or make her and Peter a definitive couple.Another major question mark hangs over Jacob Monroe's influence. The mysterious Jacob Monroe was slowly elevated to the role of overarching villain in The Night Agent season 2. He was Solomon's employer, and though he seemed calm and professional when Peter met him, it was clear that Jacob was highly dangerous. Still, it was a necessary evil for Peter to climb into the information broker's pocket. He couldn't know what Jacob would do with the information Peter stole from the UN, but it definitely wasn't good. As Catherine said, this fact means that any document that crosses Hagan's desk will be on the global market. The ending of The Night Agent season 2 revealed that the stolen UN documents allowed Jacob Monroe to manipulate the presidential election's outcome. The newly elected President Hagan got there all thanks to Jacob. As Catherine said, this fact means that any document that crosses Hagan's desk will be on the global market. Still, the extent of Hagan and Monroe's relationship is still unclear. Is this villain truly the one in control?
