PM Imran Khan visited the temporary headquarters of the MQM-P at Bahadurabad earlier today during his whirlwind visit to Karachi as he tries to shore up support from allies ahead of the united Opposition's no-confidence motion in the National Assembly seeking his ouster. He did add that he couldn't share the details of the discussion that took place behind closed doors although he categorically stated that the no-trust move never came up for discussion."The premier was visiting our office for the first time in three and a half years. The meeting was held in a very amicable environment."
He also shied away from commenting on the absence of provincial lawmaker Khawaz Izharul Hassan, who reportedly left the office prior to the premier's arrival.Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. who was accompanying the premier along with other party leaders, was reported in the media as stating that the MQM-P leadership has assured the premier of its support in the no-confidence move against the premier.
