The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) announced on Friday that it penalized more than 1,300 private companies

Violations resulted in fines ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh100,000 for each case.Data from mid-2022 to May 2024 shows over 97,000 Emiratis employed in about 20,000 private companies.and Emiratisation announced on Friday that it penalized more than 1,300 private companies in the UAE for violating Emiratisation rules from mid-2022 to May 16, 2024.

Mohre said it gathered data from mid-2022 to May 2024, indicating that more than 97,000 Emiratis are currently employed in about 20,000 private companies in the country. When it is confirmed that a UAE national works in a nominal job without real tasks to meet the establishment’s Emiratisation targets, Emiratisation is considered fake. Some also ‘rehire’ an Emirati to manipulate data.
