According to police sources, a police van was on its regular patrolling duty in the city when it reached near to Jhalawan Complex area, it came under the attack of a heavy bomb explosion. As a result of which, SSP driver Muhammad Din died on the spot, while another constable Abdul Salam died on the way to the hospital. One constable that received injured has been shifted to the hospital.
It is not ascertained that it was a suicide attack or a planted bomb that was ripped through a remote control after finding the police car. Khuzdar deputy commissioner along with Khuzdar SSP reached the spot.
