Talking to the media after visiting Quarantine Centre on Wednesday, he said that 28 people had tested positive for coronavirus. “The health emergency has been declared in Punjab keeping in view the precautionary measures,” he said.
The Punjab chief minister said that a ban had been imposed on visits to tourist resorts. “Hotels and restaurants will remain open till 10pm. However, medical stores and markets will remain open,” he added. Sardar Usman Buzdar said that an amount of Rs236 million had been given to the Health Department. “The government has decided to allocated Rs5 billion to curb the spread of coronavirus,” he declared.
