According to the reports, the incident occurred near the Shahdara chowk. The tanker caught fire after it overturned. It then engulfed a petrol pump and several cars.
The blaze has also gutted nearby petrol pump and shops while the teams have arrived at the scene and launched the rescue operation. The security personnel have cordoned off the entire area.
