Qasai rates in Karachi – Butchers declare slaughtering pricing

On the first day of Eid, the cost to slaughter a cow will be Rs20,000, while a goat will cost Rs10,000. The fee for slaughtering a camel is set at Rs40,000.

Nadeem Qureshi, a representative from the association, noted that prices for the second and third days of Eid will be significantly lower, approximately half of the first day’s rates.The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene tomorrow to sight the Zil Hajj moon, as reported by Radio Pakistan.Eid ul-Adha is expected to occur on June 17 , but the exact date will be confirmed following the Zil Hajj moon sighting.

The MET office indicated that if the month of Zilqad in Pakistan is 29 days long, Zil Hajj will start on June 8, leading to Eid ul-Adha 2024 being celebrated on June 17.To prepare for Eid ul-Adha 2024, Karachi Commissioner Hassan Naqvi has announced the setup of 22 cattle markets across seven districts of the city.

According to an official statement, seven markets will be within city limits, and 15 will be within town limits.
