LAHORE – Punjab Institute of Cardiology remained closed on Friday for the third day since the lawyers’ attack.
On the other hand, a high level meeting was held at Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore with Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen Rashid in the chair to review all dimensions of the tragic incident that took place at the PIC. Talking to the media outside the PIC on Thursday, he said that some lawyers had worsened the situation due to the bar election. “The police have been deployed at all important places. It was inappropriate to use the power,” he said.
