Pakistan Post has issued letter for immediate action after Islamabad High Court, Supreme Court and Lahore High Court’s judges received letters filled with suspicious powder.
In the letter, it has been directed to provide masks and gloves for the safety and security of the staff. Staff have also been instructed to check letters and other mails coming into the post office with caution. The letter stated said that the mails of judges, diplomats and other high profile people should be specially checked. The letter also directed the postal staff to be vigilant during mail-order bookings and deliveries.
It should be noted that the judges of the Supreme Court, Islamabad High Court and Lahore High Court received threatening letters in which suspicious powder was also present.On the other hand, five more Supreme Court judges received suspicious letters here on Friday. The letters have been received in the name of Supreme Court Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Ayesha Malik.ISLAMABAD: A First Information Report was filed regarding the suspected threatening...
