Pakistan's Economic Growth: ADB President Lauds Govt Measures For Economic Stability

President Of The Asian Development Bank reaffirmed ADB's continued support to Pakistan in his meeting with a Pakistani delegation led by Ahad Khan Cheema, Federal Minister For Economic Affairs. The meeting took place in the context of the 57th annual meeting of the Board Of Governors.

Masatsugo Eskawa expressed confidence in Pakistan’s reform agenda and appreciated the necessary drastic stabilization measures taken by the Government to bring macroeconomic stability to the country. President ADB assured Pakistan of its continued support in the areas of public-private partnerships, climate and disaster resilience, local resource mobilisation, promotion of women's financial inclusion, and energy sector reforms.

Ahad Cheema while appreciating ADB's longstanding and generous support to Pakistan briefed the president on the series of reforms introduced by the government.
