PTI chairman Imran Khan announces long march in last week of May

ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Saturday announced long march towards Islamabad in the last week of May.

The PTI chairman further said that every Pakistani, whether a PTI supporter or not, must march towards Islamabad in the last week of May to stage his protest against the insult of his country. “Shehbaz Sharif is dubbed as the crime minister,” he said and added his [family] has corruption cases worth Rs40 billion pending in the FIA and NAB.Earlier today, Imran Khan wrote a letter to President Arif Alvi and Chief Justice of Pakistan regarding an investigation into the communication sent by the Pakistani ambassador allegedly containing the US threats.

"The PTI government, as reflected in the last cabinet meeting, was of the view the contents of the cipher clearly reflect a regime change conspiracy to remove Imran Khan from the office of the Prime Minister," the letter said.
