LAHORE – The Lahore High Court on Friday reserved its decision on admissibility of petition seeking removal of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List .
The plea was filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif to remove name of his ailing elder brother from the no-fly list without any conditionality imposed by the federal government. In its reply submitted in the LHC, the federal government had objected that the Lahore High Court does not have jurisdiction to hear the petition as Nawaz Sharif’s sentence was suspended by the Islamabad High Court .
