LAHORE – The London departure of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for treatment delayed until Monday.
Meanwhile, the National Accountability Bureau has sent the reply over removal of Nawaz Sharif from ECL to the Interior Ministry. The sources confirmed that ailing Nawaz Sharif accompanied by his brother Shehbaz Sahrif and family physician Dr Adnan will leave for London on 11th of this month for treatment. His flight will take off from Lahore at 9:05am Monday.On November 8, Nawaz Sharif’s name was likely to be removed from the Exit Control List upon a prior request citing health concerns. It was also reported that a final decision on the matter would be undertaken by the ministry of interior within the next 48 to 72 hours.
According to the sources, the name of the former premier may be removed from ECL in the next 48 hours, sources said. It added that the officials at the Interior Ministry are waiting for the formal orders to remove the PML-N quid’s name from the ECL
