A mosque was targeted by an explosion, resulting in five fatalities, including a policeman, and injuring 12 others in Hangu. The United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Affairs Ministry issued a statement denouncing the attacks, firmly rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability.The ministry extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan and wished for the swift recovery of all the injured.
Iran reaffirmed its readiness to cooperate with Pakistan in combating terrorism and extremism, calling on the international community to prevent such incidents in the future.

Mastung blast: 45 dead, dozens injured in explosionForty-five people martyred and scores of others injured in a blast during Eid Milad Ul Nabi procession in Mastung bazar in Balochistan. The martyred include district superintendent city police Nawaz Gashkori. The explosion occurred when people gathered outside Madina Masjid to hold procession in connection to the Eid Milad Ul Nabi in the town. Nature of the blast is being ascertained. Thirty dead bodies have been shifted to Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raeesani hospital while 12 were taken to district headquarters hospital Mastung. The injured are also being treated at these hospitals and health officials fear the death toll may rise. Emergency has been delcared at the trauma centre and civil hospital in Quetta. Provincial Information Minister Jan Achakzai said ambulances were sent to Mastung to transfer seriously injured persons to Quetta. In his statement on social media plat form X, Achakzai said that the enemy with foreign patronage is trying to destroy the religious harmony and peace in Balochistan. The provincial government has announced three day mourning. Acting Chief Minister Balochistan and Provincial Home Minister have sought report of the blast and ordered to beef up security across the province. Governor Balochistan has also condemned the blast.
