Caretaker Minister For Information And Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has termed holding free, fair and transparent elections as collective responsibility of all stakeholders saying that the Caretaker Government will create conducive environment in this regard.Both the exchanged views on number of issues including facilitating the media and ensuring free, fair and transparent elections and reiterated their commitment to fully cooperate in this regard.
The Information Minister said they would discharge their duties as per the constitution without any discrimination. He said we want better relationship with all the political parties.

ECP To Finalize Delimitations By November 30, General Polls To Be Held In Last Week Of January 2024: SolangiInformation Minister Murtaza Solangi has said announcement of general polls is a big disappointment for those spreading rumors. According to the election commission all the work will be completed by November 30. Talking to media in Islamabad Information Minister Murtaza Solangi said the general polls in the country will be held in last week of January 2024. On this occasion Minister For Privatization Fawad Hassan Fawad said the Caretaker Government has not initiated any institutional privatization. He said the Caretaker Government cannot skip timelines given for phases of the privatization process. Fawad Hassan Fawad said that he has not been given a task to close down PIA. He also said that operations of PIA were being interrupted due to several reasons. The Minister said we have resolved several issues pertaining to PIA and today the national flag carrier is operational as per its capacity. He added that the Caretaker Government is working within its Constitutional ambit in all matters.
