Mohammad Amir Excited as Quetta Gladiators Reach PSL 9 Playoffs

Fast bowler Mohammad Amir was ecstatic when the Quetta Gladiators made it to the playoffs of the current Pakistan Super League. Amir praised Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Wasim Jr. for their significant contributions to the team’s success. The Gladiators secured their spot in the playoffs by defeating the Lahore Qalandars with a six-wicket victory, thanks to Wasim Jr.’s six on the last ball. Saud delivered an impressive performance, remaining not out with 88 runs.

In the earlier part of the match, Shaheen Afridi and Abdullah Shafique quickly scored half-centuries, propelling the Lahore Qalandars to a score of 166/4. The Lahore Qalandars are now eliminated from the competition for the final four. The teams that have qualified are the Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators. This marks the first time since 2019 that the Quetta team has made it to the final four
