MUMBAI – Former military officer, author and editor of Force magazine Pravin Sawhney on Sunday has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is under pressure from China and Russia to start meaningful talks with Pakistan over escalating Kashmir unrest following abrogation of articles 370 and 35A.
In a tweet, the Indian journalist said that the talks on Kashmir resolution with Pakistan are seriously required at this moment as the Indian move does not have capability to do much beyond counterinsurgency operations. Pressure from China & Russia on Modi gov to start meaningful talks with Pak will soon become unbearable as Indian mil does not have capability to do much beyond CI ops.
