Anti power theft operations continue in the Lahore Electric Supply Company region. On the 44th day LESCO along with Law Enforcement Agencies found 267 connections being used for electricity theft and arrested 28 suspects.
All 267 connections have been disconnected and 204 firs have been registered. Two industrial, two agricultural, 15 commercial and 248 domestic were among the connections. Those involved have been charged 24.7 million rupees. Up till now 19,863 connections have been found involved in power theft and disconnected. A total of 18,888 firs have been registered, 6,632 suspects have been arrested and 1.8 billion rupees have been charged to those involved in power theft in the LESCO region which includes Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib and Okara.Info Minister Talks To Private Media: Election Commission Is Responsible For C ...
