While hearing the intra-court appeals regarding the local bodies’ elections in the federal capital, the Islamabad High Court Monday sought a summary and the minutes of the federal cabinet meeting about increase in the number of Union Councils , reported 24NewsHD TV channel.The DG Law election commission and the additional attorney general of Pakistan also appeared before the court.
“Why is the chief commissioner given the additional charge of the chairman of the Capital Development Authority ? Is there a shortage of people?” he questioned.“The solution to the problem is that Islamabad should have its own small parliament,” he pointed out.
