Sukkur: A total of 58 people have been lost their lives and 92 others injured in Sindh’s Sukkur division owing to heavy rainfall and floods in the province.
The incessant rainfall and floods have damaged over 5,000 houses, while 805 homes were completely demolished. However, in Karachi, two dehs of Malir, including deh UC Kun Jhang and two dehs of Gadap, were declared calamity-hit. He said the Health ministry had appointed two coordinators to have liaison and promptly convey the needs of flood hit people of Balochistan and Sindh.
Pakistan Navy troops distributed ration bags, fresh drinking water and household items including medicines to affected populace.
