The Punjab government has approved 30% of the police recruits for Gujarat and Mandi Bahauddin districts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Punjab Police Establishment DIG on Tuesday issued a notification for the distribution of 3005 seats in 21 districts of the province. According to the distribution, 2098 seats of constables and 907 seats of Traffic Assistants were distributed in the districts. As many as 463 constables and 50 traffic assistants have been approved for the Mandi Bahauddin district while 365 constables and 60 assistants for the Gujrat district.
In Sheikhupura district, 65 seats of constables and 62 seats of traffic assistants were allocated, in Nankana Sahib district 24 constables and 23 assistants, in Faisalabad district 285 constables and 120 traffic assistants, in Sahiwal district 54 constables and 53 traffic assistants, in DG Khan district 38 constable and 37 traffic assistants, in Bahawalnagar district 51 constables and 51 traffic assistants.
