Talking to the media on Friday, Attorney General Khalid Javed Khan said that the prime minister has not directed him to file a reference against the judge.A couple of days ago, the sessions court had declared the arrest of journalist Mohsin Baig as illegal.
In the five-page written verdict, the court ruled that the FIA had conducted the raid without a search warrant."The Margalla SHO registered the case to show fake performance," it ruled. It observed that the people who conducted the raid had no authority in this regard. The court had ordered the Islamabad IG to start action against the SHO.
