ISLAMABAD - The cabinet division has issued a notification regarding extension and reshuffling of federal cabinet.
According to the cabinet division’s notification, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar will be re-allocated to ministry of National Food Security and Research whereas Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan will appointed as minister for States and Frontier Region. Former finance minister Asad Umar has made a return to the federal cabinet and taken oath as the Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives on November 19.
The oath was administered by President Dr. Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad. Asad Umar has replaced Khusro Bakhtiar. It should be noted that yesterday , Assistant Special Information Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan tweeted saying that the Prime Minister has decided to make changes in the federal cabinet.
