“Where are Imran Khan and others?” ECP Member asked during the hearing of the case.
“The senior counsel is not present; therefore, they cannot appear,” PTI’s junior counsel told the ECP. “The high court has only suspended the order. If they do not appear, we will revoke Power of Attorney,” the ECP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Member said.Further hearing of the case was then adjourned till January 24 next.
It is to be noted here that the ECP had issued bailable warrants for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders including Imran Khan, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry in the contempt of election commission case.
