LAHORE - Nauman Bashir is truly a success story for differently-abled people. He cannot walk as he is disable by birth.
His disability isn’t an impediment in his way. Apart from disability, Nauman’s family is also financially weak. He supports his father to run the household expenses and to continue his studies. Despite his disability and poor financial status, Nauman made history by clinching the top position in his matric exams.
A student of Govt Special School Hafizabad, Nauman stood first in the whole province in the matric exams conducted by the Special Education Board.Nauman and his teacher Asma Batool were awarded medal and certificate by the Secretary Special Education Saima Saeed and UNICEF’s representative. “I used to help my father in making shoes after coming back from the school to meet my expenses,” he said after receiving the medal. He added that he wanted to study computer sciences in future.
